Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
You know, I have reada over this Scripture a few times, and then a few more times, and yet a few more times. Do you know what I keep visualizing?
I visualize the closing stanza of the verse,..."but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."
I analyzed, hands: do something. So ladies maybe some of the problem is that sometimes we Do: too much. This is an opinion, If we want to build our houses, we should chill out more and stop trying to Be or Do so much. Be EVERything that God wants you to be, but be careful not to slowly pluck your house down by ALL that you do.
Possibly, it is the doing that gets in hubby's way, or the doing that may ultimately smother our children, or the doing that keeps us so stressed that we are no longer a joy to be around.
When I consider wisdom, a chicken with its kneck cut off is not the imagery that comes to mind. I imaigine that wise people ponder, they calculate, they think, they reason, they patiently strategize. And come out with a Good Building.
