"First, it is human to struggle, thank you Britney for your candidness, transparency, it helps your students/audience to be transparent and candid as well. Beyond the bleach and soapy sudsy water, clean to me is defined as: all things in its place. So first everything needs a home: food, clothes, pencils, coats, books, garbage etc. So when "things" have designated homes and all is put in their spaces; that area is organized and functional and for the most part, "clean". Furthermore, inspiration can be gleaned from a Roku app called 'CLUTTERBUG'; the author is awesome, and just watching how she organizes and cleans is worthy of imitation; the app is called clutterbug", thank you Britney for the opportunity to share"
That is really what an organized home is all about, having a place for everything. A labeled bin just for batteries, light bulbs or extra bathroom products. A spot designated for incoming mail, your purse or your keys when you walk in the door. “On the table” or “in the closet” are not the type of “homes” I am talking about. You need to create a real spot, that never changes and one that everyone in the house can easily find and use. https://clutterbug.me/2016/10/take-s-p-c-e-home-organizing-challenge.html
