Acts 13 The Holy Spirit Sends Them Out

The Great Commission

Go ye into all the world and teach all nations

Neglect no one, no tribe, nor group, nor small formation

The Holy Spirit is sending you

be not afraid

Don't forget what you've learned

and the things I've said

I have to go now,

it remains with you to do my precious will

you will face giants and hardships, yet I will be with you still

Do not worry about anything, I'll never leave you nor forsake you

On your journey, carry no baggage, no purse, or shoes

No matter the house you go, take to it your peace

if you're not accepted, shake the dust off of your feet

I send you out as a variety

Variety you'll have as your return

dont worry about your differences because my love lessons of love you'll

learn

You will see how very much I love All People

I respect no person, all to me are equal

I'm not concerned about gender, race, or skin color

as long as they believe, you'll regard them as your brother

The gates of hell will never prevail against this church I've built

these promises are true, To uphold these promises God's begotten Son was kilt

He died on a tree for you and for me

The Great Commission He has given to abide eternally

Amoung every generation we are to go and make disciples

Learners who will trust God, have faith and follow the Bible

With the Great Commission, baptism is for all man

With the Great Commission God's church will forever stand

The Holy Sprit sending the disciple out was truly a Divine act. Man did not send the men out, The Holy Spirit did God did. Bro White is reminded of some of the present day pioneers such as his dad, and others who went out in tents in just a few days gone by and preached to people who had never heard the gospel and were succesful in establishing congregations in territories where there were none. I too am amazed because of the work of these men sent by God alone, as I travel sometimes through cities, looking throughout, you will see little songregations of the churches of Christ that have been established. Sometimes there was not a preacher but God's plans are extraordinary in keeping with his promises that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. Bro White observes truthfully that there is a decline in focus on a forceful continuing of the mission to reach lost souls by diverting at times emphazing inward church maintanence. Bro White further observes that this is a work that shouldn't be neglected, yet when Jesus put all authority under his feet, He told the 12 disciples to go and teach all nations... We were able to see on maps some of the journeys of the apostles in areas such as Antioch and Cappadocia and their travels and missions to the lands preaching and publishing the gospel. Here we are in America with the gospel because of the work of men that have been sent by God's Spirit. Bro White brings our attention to the fact that the Holy Spirit continues as God has promised, sending men out into the world. Surely God alone without the need of the will of man, places his servants where he wants them with different gifts to continue the promise of: His Word going out into all the world, amoung all nations, to the end of the earth.
