God is Wise

God is wise and it is no surprise at all

He formed the earth in 6 days and made it like a ball

We do well to take heed to His Word

we dont know all and never will no matter how much we've heard

God raises the dead and gives the blind sight

He makes the trees grow and gives the plants light

He formed all of the animals and called them two by two

Noah questioned not God, just did what God said do

Higher than the heavens are from the earth, so is God's wisdom in us

we must never rely on our own will, following His Word is a must

God formed His church with wisdom and just like a baby being born

man just cant figure it out

His wisdoom is beyond our greatest imaginations

we need trust and never doubt

The Pharisees thought they knew all of the answers in matters

God surprised them time and time again, He invited the Greeks in with the Jews who scattered

Just when the Pharisees thought they were the only chosen few

God showed His will to them in spite of what they thought they knew

It will always be that way when it comes to God's ultimate plan

we do well to let go of pride and rest in the master's hand

What God has made crooked man will not make straight

so heed His Word and continue to enter in at the narrow gate

God is Wise

If he acted foolish, or had a bad day

even His foolishness would be wiser than our wisdom

God is Wise

We need always pray for the man of God that God has placed 'with us'. Bro White is truly gifted. He is gifted with special wisdom in understanding God's Word, and humility that allows him to speak the truth in a way that all could understand, that is a gift, to empart understanding. No one can outgrow the Scriptures, there are Scriptures that I have been reading for well over 20 years, that a man of God can teach and bring out points from the text that I would have never thought of alone. Many people set aside the Bible because it is not relatable, yet, when it is taught in such a loving way, it becomes Alive and relevant and we are able to connect with the God who created all things.

Bro. Emmanuel White, continues with Acts. We have arrived at Acts 11. The Jews are amazed that God has called the Gentiles by the same method as 'the' Jews. It was an 'in your face' sort of event becuase the Jews always believed that they were the chosen of God amoung all the peoples of the earth, and it was difficult for them to grasp a loving Father who accepted 'anyone' with faith to believe.

Acts 11:18; Even when we dont understand God's will, we should give Glory to His name in spite of how we see things, due to our ultimate reliance on His great Wisdom that far superceeds our human intelligence.

A key verse in Bro White's sermon is I Cor 1:22-25 'For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. I never gave much thought to Acts 11 which stated that the disciples were first called Christian at Antioch, a Greek territory, and not Jewish!

Bro White reminded us that even on a day if God decided to be foolish, (or have a bad day) that even his foolishness would outweigh our "wisdom"! Wow, we serve a Great and Awesome God! What a mighty God we serve! These are humbling truths, thank you for this lesson minister White, we Love you! Praise God for using you as His vessel for our spiritual growth. No matter how big and bad we think we are, God really does have the Master Plan & is the Wisest of the Wise!
