Why do you call me Lord, Lord yet do not the things I tell you
I tell you no, you say yes and still do what you want to do
You pray diligently to me
yet you've not followed my word faithfully
All of my decrees are written in my book
I have left you without excuse
You ignore Me, contradict Me, and crucify me with much abuse
Yet you call, Lord Lord
when your fears arise and dangers proceed
I liberate, I deliver, yet you follow your inclinations with greed
Lord means I'm Your master, and no other king shall reign
yet you follow other gods and treat my Sayings with disdain
The enemy is after you, my Word could protect you,
yet you head straight forward to your slaughter, to your doom
Why dost thou call me Lord, yet do not the things I say
My Word is ever near you, waiting only for your to obey
Yes, I am your Savior, yet your Lord too,
The Savior is Lord yet you must do as I command you
Throw down your vices, be humble and stop fighting with me
Allow me to be your Lord and live with me eternally
Why dost thou call me Lord?
Bro Emmanuel White--Is He Your Lord
Matt, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord, yet do not the things I command?" It is interesting to me that Satan is not concerned about what we say (sarcastically our lip service), but what we do. Satan would probably rather us speak a good game than actually walk the righteous walk. Our enemy is many times wiser than we are knowing that God is going to judge the things 'done' in the body. I SAY "Praise Him", yet Do I Praise Him?
