My bae has found faith!
Yet I am encouraged just to wait
Emotions can fool us sometimes
better to be safe
than wishin this time
My bae has found faith! and oh he smiles with excite
Better keep lookin and watchin he just might lose his might
Because emotions can fool us sometimes
better to be safe
than wishin this time
Time heals wounds, I say to myself, it just doesn't happen that fast
The Bible is open, ears wide open, ready! the 'holy spirit' has come with a blast!
Everything in me is saying slow down, just wait
When Jesus truly changes you, it wont just be a spuratic state,
You dont have to caretake, let bae find his own way
When God's got you your fiath is here to stay
We have heard the same song for far too long
we want to get it right this time, without confessing wrong
We move so fast, & this should be our sign that we're untrue,
This time, let God be God, and you be You
If he's really saw the light, he'll be here to stay,
nothing can take him off course, think of yourself as display
No matter what comes no matter what goes, you are with God till the end, nothing can separate you , no love, relative or friend,
So, it is the same with your bae, when he's ready, he'll serve God for himself, and nothing will deter him, neither location, family, or wealth
That's how it is when God changes a person's heart,
they themselves will know when to stop and when to start,
You won't have to say a word, you just let them live
let them give their life to God, and their heart, to Him give
You cannot save another person
they must take their own steps to the brink
you can take them to the water, but you cannot make them drink
It is all their own call, God's will they must choose to obey
Give bae a chance to Love God alone, no matter what he may say
My bae has found faith!
I am wishing it were true,
only time will tell--
so for now Jesus, I'll wait on You
