He's (Satan) Tricking You in Spiritual Thoughts & Walk Herein is a poem about our enemy Satan You think you've got him figured out, yet your life, he's taken Satan fears only God's Word and never You he laughs at how wise you think you are whether with one degree or two He fooled Adam and Eve, now you're on his list he wants you to believe your getting by, so God's Word, you dismiss You leave behind faithfulness and with the church you dont go, You are living high on the hog, Satan has blessed you so, Satan arrives everyday with another tactic and scheme to keep you from falling forward, to keep you from bowing your knees Strategies galore, you just cant stay ahead of him He knows your desires, your wants, your lust and whim You've got it all figured out, yet Satan is right at your door You're not protected nor encouraged, your Scriptures are on the floor, He makes you doubt and he'll ask you questions that you know you can answer His seeds are growing in you, desiring to sift your soul like cancer Take heed! Take heed! says the preacher constantly, you let Satan in, he fools you decietfully He makes you think you're missing out, "sure there's more out there than just this Christian life", yet Jesus gives abundant life, the church is His glorious bride, his virtuous wife Jesus is there to help you, yet you must resist Satan for him to flee You cant give in my brother, just hold to God's hand intentionally, Satan only wants to trick you and make you think twice, He wants your soul, your time, your talents, your very life Hell is greedy, and never gets full dont even walk the paths of destruction, and stay yoked to the mule Herein is a poem about our enemy Satan You think you've got him figured out, yet your life, he's taken So just believe, he may be tricking you when you feel just fine be on guard and never forget that his tactics are sublime

All that I can say after being a Christian for fairly around 20 years now, is that: Satan is a Bad, Powerful Force to be Reckoned With. I tell my loved one often, 'The only thing that Satan is afraid of is God's Word.' Satan becomes afraid when I qoute Scripture, but he is not afraid of me, and he is not afraid of you. He knows that You without Jesus are NOTHING, He knows that you are absolutley no match for him. Bro White's lesson and beginning series here (below) reminds us of Satan's schemes, his trickery, and untireing strategies to destroy us. God's Word is the only entity sustaining us to this day. Our enemy was the most cunning animal in the garden of Eden; he was successful at destroying Adam and Eve's faith and he is successful in defeating us. Satan comes to Kill, Steal, and Destroy. Those are the three reasons for him entering into my life. My only hope is standing on the promises of God. Even the Son of God, when battling with Satan, said only, "it is written...." To defeat Satan in that moment, Jesus only relied on God's Word. My black belt, degrees, or the fact that I served as a United States Marine, won't help when I am encountering Satan, only qouting Scriptures will make him flee; when I qoute Scripture wether from the Old or New Testament, I am at that point 'resisting' Satan, and then he flees and God comforts me.
