Is it possible to forgive a person who has had an affair?

Due to our human weaknesses and nature, Forgiveness oftentimes takes supernatural power. God is love and He forgives us, and we cannot be forgiven of our personal trespasses if we don't forgive others. Affairs are extremely hurtful, and the often cause deep wounds.
