Life is too short to not treat each other good

Life is too short to write poetry with the beginning phrase "we wish we would.."

We should not wish when we have today and right now

we should not wish for the milk before the cow (process)

Life is too short to not work for what you earn

It is too short to miss lessons that are learned

we all have a future and we all have a past

we should not waste our present moments wishing first days were our last

Life is too short to drink too much

to get drunk on wine, high on drugs and all things as such

we all want a good life and plenty of health

we want to leave an inheritance and grow our wealth

Life is too short to not know how to swim

how to roller skate, ride a bike, and a time or two, to go out on a limb

Sowing wild oats may not always be so catastrophic

Life is too short to not smile and write journals with no topic

Wishing is fun and fatasizing makes the days a little lighter

they inwardly add joy to our heart, our hope a little brighter

Sunnydays; we have to get out and experience them all

Fly kites, swing, barbeque, and shoot a little ball

tell your wife you love her and that with her you want to spend all your days

give her flowers and sugar and chocolates, into her eyes gaze

And when you finally settle down

never let those butterfly feelings go

kiss her sweeter still and allow your love to grow

Life is short, we can depend on rain and bad weather sometimes

but never let this keep you from dancing in the snow, come fall and springtime

And when you dance, dance like there's no tomorrow

let the music play and with every beat drown all your sorrow

Because life is short and before we know

the lights go out

we'll want to have lived as if we knew the phrase, "life is short"

and most importantly know what life being short is all about
