Meekness is humility
it is patience and purity
It does not seek its own but looks out for the best interest of others
its conversation is genuine, heartfelt like sisters and brothers
Meekness is not weakness as some have said
it is power under control, silence when you want to lose your head
It backs off and allows others to live
it does not have to be seen, doesn't have to recieve yet will give
A meek person knows time and place
they know when to scream, when to be quiet and give space
Meekness knows the answer, but will hold on until later on
They know which one is the best note, but will let you sing the song
Joy fills the meeks heart because they walk in wisdom alone
they socialize, are mobile, and also know their zone
Meek is gentle and not rowdy and ready
it keeps and even kill, and knows how to be steady
A truly meek person, people love to be around
they smile, accept you, and don't give you a frown
The meek dont push their way on others and they know when to stop
They are sincere and caring and dont crave to be on top
Jesus said he was meek, and Lowly in Spirit was he
he fought when he needed and treaded evil waters gently
A lamb is meek, and like a sheep to the slaughter he goes
his hands help out everywhere, yet his fame, no one knows
Her name is meekness, yet you'll never know she's there
because her work is done in quietness, she needs not diamonds or flares
Meekness, gentleness, peacecful, mild, shy, quiet, resigned
She's all one in the same
Longsuffering, patient, forbearing, reverent, serene,
and Jesus is His name
