In Acts 17, Paul now has reached the Greeks
he looked around, investigated, to find what he seeks
God led Paul to this region
paganism and idolatry he found
"You are too superstitious", Paul said, his observations were sound
In their lands was an alter erected,
it was dedicated to the "unknown god"
Paul was ready to educate the Greeks with the Word as a rod
Paul told the onlookers, you dont know what you worship,
yet what you worship, I will explain this unto you
in Him we live, and have our being, In him, we move
Your poets spoke wisely when they said these words,
He is near to us all and to every nation, delivers his Word
He has created our bounds and where we live
all of this was for a purpose, that we would seek and our heart to him give
At the end of Paul's speech, the Greeks wanted to hear him more
There were prominant women there, Paul's teachings they were ready to store
For 3 sabbaths in Acts 17, Paul continued to teach the people aright
to cast away their idolatrous alters, and on God's holy alter lay their fright
The Bereans were more noble than those at Thessalonica there
they studied God's Word daily and questioned concerns and were aware
What do you worship? Is it a person, pleasure, your body, or something created still
Settle on God's Word, worship Him only, and solidify your salvation as real
