"For after this manner did the women of old adorn themselves, not with braided hair and gold and pearls and costly array, but the unfading beauty of even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in the sight of God." As I look at meek and quiet, spirit: the mind, I start with meek. I would venture here to say, correct me if I wrong, that it does not mean a dummy; meekness has been said to be power under control, and quiet then is translated in the greek as peaceful and serene. I must question then, Am I always ready for a fight?, Do I make every issue a battle? Do I lack patience? For a while, lets think on: a "meek and quiet spirit", that God considers a valuable ornament. Comment below
